It’s about how you feel in what you wear

When you pay a lot of money for a suit, you want it to last. Not only that, you want it to be right. To look right (your style but appropriate for different occasions) and to fit right (ever try a suit off the rack and question who those are made for?). When you spend a lot of money on a suit, you want what you pay for.

You will rarely get that buying made to measure or off the rack. The sad truth is, when tailoring is cheap it’s also not going to be right. The fit won't be perfect, because it wasn’t made for you, the style won’t feel right, because it wasn’t designed by you, and all in all you will have exactly what you bought, an okay suit.

However, as consumers, we are expecting more and more from our purchases. We want quality, durability, sustainability, and just an all-around good product. The thing with suits and tailoring is, that it is hard to do.

Suits are intended to showcase elements of your physique in the best possible light, to make you feel powerful, in charge, in control, and as the ambitious, stylish, and inspired person, you are. If a suit doesn’t fit right, which so many made to measure and off the rack suits do not, then it is not only going to highlight all the wrong things but it will also make you feel different. A jacket that’s too tight do not make you feel confident in your posture as you walk into a room, pants that are too short/too long/too baggy won’t make you feel powerful. A poorly fitting suit changes the story you’re telling yourself and the world about who you are.

Suits are expensive, even when they are made to measure or off the rack. You pay for brand names, flashy designs, or you skimp out and end up with an ill-fitting polyester nightmare.

Bespoke tailoring can seem daunting. It can seem like a big commitment, like a big investment, like a lot of choices and responsibility, like a pretentious choice. But it's not. Bespoke or custom tailoring just means that you care about how you feel in what you’re wearing. Whether is for an important day in your life where you want to look your best for your loved ones or it's for a new job with more responsibilities, how you feel is everything.

Bespoke tailoring is the way to do that. Bespoke tailoring is a way for you not to compromise on anything. Quality, durability, and fit are all designed with you in mind. When the suit is made for you, you decide what story you’re telling the world about you.
